“Differences Create No Distances” (DiCreNDi) is an Erasmus+ Youth project, co-financed by the European Union. It involves a consortium of six partners from 5 European countries: Albania, Ireland, North Macedonia, Poland and Romania. The project addresses the lack of professional and social inclusion of the visually impaired people (VIP) and the lack of engagement of youth workers in the work with VIPs. Therefore, it aims to bring together visually impaired people, youth workers and non-visually impaired people in order to raise awareness about the needs and skills of the VIPs, to develop communication techniques to promote inclusion, to improve confidence and self-empowerment, and to learn methods of working together in various situations. Non-formal tools and activities are used, as well as sports and outdoor activities.
